Swindle is a farcical look into the seedy underworld of Australian crime.
While most crime stories are set in a fast paced city like New York or Melbourne, the quiet, boring setting of Adelaide is just as much a character as anyone else.
Two hapless criminals looking for their big break decide to undertake what is, to them, a masterstroke of criminal genius - grinding up fibre glass and making fake meth, selling it, posing as the police to bust the drug deal before it ever happens, and then taking the money as a bribe.
Of course, nothing goes to plan, and they end up in far more trouble than they could ever have imagined - accidentally killing drug dealers and hit men along the way.
Finally they attract the attention of the organised crime syndicate in Adelaide, the police, and nearly every news channel in Australia - forcing them in to a Mexican stand off, and putting their courage and friendship to the test.
