The trainers at McClellan's gym are, in their own opinions, the best in their field. Under the guidance of McClellan’s owner Bill, head trainers Ryan, Terri, Gary and Kareem have risen to the top of the glamorous exercise industry. But things aren’t as toned as they appear, with Bill about to announce his retirement. To decide who will take over as McClellan’s manager, Bill gives each trainer one week to run the gym. “Trainerz” follows the fierce competition that emerges as Ryan, Terri, Gary and Kareem go head to head. It’s survival of the fittest. Literally.
“You know, at McClellan's gym, it’s not about putting fitness first, it’s about putting fitness second. I mean, you have to sleep. I’m very realistic about that.”
- Bill
“I know I’m the right guy for the job. I’m attractive, motivated, attractive and modest. I don’t take excuses - as Ryan always says, being part of the human race does not count as exercise.”
- Ryan
